I’ve asked Robby a question on a Kristina video where he was, but didn’t got answer (not blaming you Robby, you probably got ton of msg to answer). My question was about transition. How did it go for Bibi which is type 2 just like me at the beginning? I asked the question because i was scared of having very high glycemia at the beginning, and my first week of test went bad. Before the that diet, my glycemia in the morning was high 1-2 hours after eating (8.0 to 10.0). When i started eating bananas… BOOM! I’ve went to 16.0 to 17.0! Honnestly, i didn’t felt i was so high at the beginning. In fact, i felt better. In a single week i’ve lost 3 pounds. Now i’m mixing up a bit (morning: Fruits, lunch: as before… some meat with vegetables, dinner: salad with lettuce/tomatoes/cucumber/etc). I feel like if i keep going 100% raw vegan, my doctor will see way too high results and i’ll end up with insulin (i’m actually on metformin only)… So any tips and experience sharing about the Transition would be appreciated. I have side tracked a bit from the diet as I could not get my BS to level out at all. Will try it again more in March/April. I was committed to the raw til 4 lifestyle and jogged 2 miles everyday and still nothing. May need to incorporate more greens etc. But thanks again! So i guess that it’s not so bad afterall… the only thing is that sometime i get really low energy. Usually it’s caused by high glycemia, but after lunch when i test myself, i’m ok. The peaks usually occur after breakfast. And the major point that my Dr told me is that “All diets are mostly extreme, and people drop it after a while and get back to their previous conditions”. And he also talked to me about stuff that vegan won’t have enough in their diet like amino acid. He told me that vegan know exactly what to eat, and most of them eventually end up with some deficiency. I really don’t know. Robby seems ok, i see few vegan online seems to be very ok too. But i see some with some health conditions too (Tasha for example seems to have a hard time at the moment). Robby, if you read this, it would be interresting to know what the Dr told me: “What most vegan forget to eat and lead them to deficiency”. What make a 100% vegan successful. I know that you can have some amino acid intake from Hemp Seed and Quinoa. But is there any other stuff that most vegetable & fruits doesn’t contain and are absolutely necessary?
