Common sense should tell you that fat loss or muscle gain isn’t an acute process. Eat a bowl of cereal in the morning and don’t exercise until night means your screwed and it will turn to fat? Drink a powerade before you run and you won’t burn anything since you took in so much sugar? No.. It is something that takes time. Carb / protein timing, HIIT “afterburn effect”, etc are all unproven fads that are almost meaningless in the large scheme of fat loss. Eat less than you need and lose weight. Eat more and gain.
