I like doing this because it helps me drop body fat, but I think I was doing it wrong before and gained body fat once I started eating normal again. Some sites say to only eat two meals, w/ 200-300 cals and not to exceed 600 for women, 800 for men. I followed that, and it messed me up. I listened to what you said, and you make more sense. I am a new fitness trainer, and I want to offer this type of dieting to some clients and myself but need to know how to do it correctly w/o damage. If I eat dinner at 7pm, then I will fast for 16hrs, eat a meal at 11am, and possibly two other meals or so, and eat dinner at 7pm again. Making sure I eat all my daily calorie requirements in the that window, right? I don’t want my body in starvation mode. Please I thank you for helping. I have been doing I.F. for 2 years now and finished full Ironman on it running half marathons on an empty stomach with no problems. Pre-I.F. I was amazed at how brainwashed and misinformed I was growing up believing I had to eat a huge breakfast, eat 6 times a day, eat pre and post workouts to get any benefit. I.F. has just become a way of life and not eating for 20 hours seems like no big deal anymore! Appreciate your sharing your video…thanks again! Coffee, tea and water is all you should have during your fast.
