    This was great for me. I have the Starch Solution book and been playing
    with this way of eating for about a year, replacing more and more meals
    with those found on this plan. Im finally all in, however, I still find
    myself asking every meal, “Can I really lose weight eating these foods?”
    (Especially white rice and potatoes)
    I am still in such disbelief for some reason. I think I still have the
    mindset of calling myself a “Carbohydrate addict”.
    I am afraid I am going to add more weight before realizing I am one of the
    people that this plan does not work for. Silly, maybe. Should I calorie
    restrict at all? Maybe just 1800 a day instead of 2500? Do you think this
    will set me back? Middle age women like me seem to have a tougher time at
    it, given the added hell of hormonal struggles and the effect they have had
    on my weight gain.
